How to Add Page Numbers to a PDF Document

Add Page Numbers to PDF


  • Go to Add Page Numbers
  • Upload your PDF
  • Choose position (bottom center, top right, etc.)
  • Set starting number
  • Preview the placement on your actual PDF
  • Click Process & Download

  • Position Options


  • Bottom Center — most common for reports
  • Bottom Right — standard for books
  • Bottom Left — for left-bound documents
  • Top Center — for headers

  • Custom Numbering


  • Start from any number (useful for multi-part documents)
  • Use Page Labels for Roman numerals (i, ii, iii)
  • Use Bates Numbering for legal documents
